What is SSC MTS

MTS or Multi-Tasking Staff is an examination by the Staff Selection Commission for the recruitment of Group D and C-level posts in various Ministries in the Government of India. It is a High School or 10 level Examination conducted by the SSC, and the Candidate need to be Tenth Pass from any Recognised Board or University in India. Eligiblity for SSC MTS

Age Criteria

  • Candidate should be avobe 18 years of age
  • for MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff ) the age limit criteria is 18 years to a maximum of 25 years
  • for Havaldar the maximum age is about 27 years

There is also an age relaxation criteria for various Classes as per Government of India rules and regulations

  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen
  • Subjects of Nepal and Bhutan
  • Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before 1 January 1962
